Avi Kwa Ame National Monument ~ Time to Get Out and Take a Stand

APRIL 2025

Whether solitary or in a flock of your favorite folks, Springtime is the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the monument!

It’s been a late winter and we are still in heavy drought but we did get a bit of recent rain and snow. Springtime is just starting to get going with a few Joshua trees producing flowers and new green shoots beginning to form on the creosote and sage. If we are lucky, we should see some beautiful blooms later this month.

In lean years, each bloom reminds us of the preciousness of having adequate resources in our lives.
