Walking Box Ranch is open every first Saturday of the month for a tour of the ranch house and a special guest speaker or feature! Learn more about Avi Kwa Ame National Monument while also helping to restore, maintain and preserve the historic cattle ranch and desert home of silent film stars Rex Bell & Clara Bow.

DRUM CIRCLE in Avi Kwa Ame National Monument

 
 

Spend an afternoon enjoying community, music and nature! This month, we’ll be hosting a therapeutic drum circle in Avi Kwa Ame National Monument, led by James Allen. No drumming experience is necessary—bring your own percussion instrument (drum, shakers, sticks, etc). There will be a few extra drums and shakers on hand.

Therapeutic drumming can refresh the spirit, relieve stress, help us focus on the present, and engage with community.  Let’s relax, de-stress, and enjoy our public lands though community drumming.

We’ll start things off with a tour of the ranch house at 1PM followed by the drum circle at 2PM.
