Around 200 people joined us for events throughout the day! We had a wildflower hike, house tours, silent movie screenings, a Mojave beading workshop, talks on preservation, the Pleistocene, the Triassic, Rex Bell & the History of Western Wear, the history and care of Navajo rugs, a theatrical interlude, and an afterparty with delicious treats and demonstrations about the mining era’s most popular card game, Faro! Thank you to everyone who volunteered, attended and made this event possible.
